Select rooms offer a spa bath. Rooms can only be accessed via stairs. Cannot fault anything about the hotel. But the best thing was the staff. So friendly and helpful. I couldn’t have wished for a better hotel

The property features mountain and garden views, and is 11 km from Nanaimo Bastion. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Darlene’s place is gorgeous with beautiful gardens and amazing water views. She is a lovely and attentive host, and made us a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, homemade scones, and scrambled eggs. The room with double beds was impeccable with a little coffee station, and the beds were cozy. Lots of extra pillows were on offer too. There is a nice pub and many other dining options nearby, and a few beautiful parks on the waterfront within a very short drive. We highly recommend a stay with her!

Some may also include a fireplace, a spa bath, or a terrace. The room was absolutely beautiful and the details and other public spaces in the home are incredible. Especially the reading room. The staff was kind and easy to contact. Breakfast was included and delicious. Would stay again for sure.

The elegant rooms at Fairholme Manor are styled with hardwood floors and clean white walls. Each room features a TV and VCR, small refrigerator and bathrobes. Many boast 12-foot ceilings or large bay windows. This was the absolute best accommodation during our 6 weeks in North America and the best we have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect, from the beginning to the end. The whole property was absolutely stunning and very well maintained. A heaven of peace. The gourmet breakfast really blew us away, it was excellent and outstanding, the best we’ve ever had. Our room was very clean and really comfortable and it had the best view as a deer family came to visit every morning. Sylvia was the perfect host, she is a such a helpful, friendly and lovely person and it was a real pleasure talking to her. Her staff was also absolutely awesome. Thank you for making our stay so special ❤️ We will definitely come back and can highly recommend the Fairholme Manor.

This guest house features free private parking and a shared kitchen. The accommodation offers luggage storage space and a concierge service for guests. Quiet neighborhood, and our room had a lovely view of the sunset. The bed was very comfy, the bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, and there was a jacuzzi on the deck that we did not use for lack of time, as we were busy visiting the area. We received two (!) bottles of Pino Griggio and breakfast was just perfect. The house is so pretty and well designed and we did not want to leave.
