Everything was great; from the rooms to the spa, we enjoyed this hotel a lot. It was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The staff was very helpful and friendly, I would especially like to thank everyone at the reception.

The family-run Bristol hotel is situated in a central yet quiet location in Zermatt, between the train station and the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It offers a spa area and free WiFi in all areas.

Most rooms in the Hotel Bristol offer superb views of the Matterhorn. Clean rooms without a carpet floor which always looks a little dirty. Plus the stuff was super friendly, the bed unusually comfortable because quite hard.

Backstage Hotel Serviced Apartments features apartments with full hotel services designed by architect Heinz Julen and offering views of the Matterhorn from their balcony or terrace. The Zermatt Matterhorn Express Cable Car is 250 metres away. We were caught in a snow storm and Zermatt was cut off from outside. There was no electricity for one and half days. But the hotel took really good care of us, provided food and drinks, charging place... let us stay for one extra night. We have to thank Daniel, who went out his ways to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We would definitely like to come again.

The apartment is spacious, fully equipped, large windows with stunning view of the Matterhorn, lovely balcony (same gorgeous view), perfect location just off the main road, comfortable beds, super clean. And a great team you can contact by phone or in person that had answers to all of our questions, gave great recommendations for hikes and food, and went the extra mile for us when we needed. Backstage Boutique Hotel is within walking distance of Gornergrat railway and Sunnega railway. A ski bus is also close by. A tennis court and a skating rink are in front of the hotel. We loved our spacious room and if you leaned over the balcony you could see the Matterhorn. The staff was extremely welcoming to usabd our 2 dogs, delicious breakfast and we loved their kindness to let us use their spa ( after check out) once we came back from a very long hike . That was a lifesaver!

A cosy lounge with an open fireplace and a bar invites you to enjoy your favourite drink. A drying room for ski boots is at your disposal. Location of Sarazena is excellent, close to the train station and the Gornergrat railway, and close to the bus that takes you to the Matterhorn Glacier Express. Staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. The heated ski store room is a major bonus to ensure shi boots are toasty warm and dry the next day. My room was quite large and would be very comfortable for two people.
