A homemade, continental breakfast is served every day, and the B&B features a terrace in the enclosed garden. Great location in the city and had a secure parking space pretty much outside. Lovely bed, great room and fabulous French breakfast. Lovely friendly owner. Would go back!

We have just spent two memorable nights at La Dixmeresse with the new owners, Geraldine and Charles, who treated us like guests in their own home. La Dixmeresse is a charming, historic property, sympathetically renovated to accommodate today’s needs. It is on the edge of Restigne, a small quiet village surrounded by vineyards and well located for visiting multiple chateaux and wineries in this lovely region of France. Our bedroom was large and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and high-quality bed linen and towels. It was spotlessly clean and had every convenience. Geraldine is an excellent cook. A lovely breakfast was included, and we chose to have dinner there both nights. For my husband, who is diabetic, she arranged a beautiful fruit plate for his dessert, instead of the decadent chocolate cake with crème anglaise that I enjoyed! Charles (English speaking) helped us plan our tour each day, suggesting places that we had overlooked and giving us advice about which routes to take that would be most scenic.

Beautiful building and tasteful interior. It was perfect for our large family visiting. The host really put extra effort into making us, and our children, feel welcome and comfortable.

Big parking lot with 3 handicapped spaces. Tastefully done, overall. No real problems.

Located an 11-minute drive from Amboise and set in a property built in the 16th century, Château de Pintray offers an landscaped garden and a furnished terrace. Guests can play table tennis or billiards on site. Two couples enjoyed a wonderful stay. The stylish room and cozy living room with its fireplace were perfect for relaxing evenings. The delicious breakfast made us feel right at home. We loved the place and highly recommend it! Anne's kindness and helpfulness made our stay even better.

Set in a 19th-Century historic mansion, La Maison Jules offers a living room with a fireplace, a garden and a terrace. It is located in the centre of Tours, just a 6-minute walk from the city’s cathedral. My husband and I loved staying at La Maison Jules. It's a beautiful old estate home in the heart of Tours. We arrived early and Alexandra greeted us at the door and we visited for a bit before leaving our luggage and going out to explore the town. The restaurants and shops are all within a 5-15 minute walk. Alexandra recommended modest and delicious French restaurants for lunch and dinner. La Maison Jules is beautifully furnished and, without being fussy, there is a lot of attention to detail in the beautiful wallpaper, drapes, linens, comfortable furniture, and overall ambiance. Our bedroom overlooking the garden/courtyard was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a large window overlooking the property and included every modern amenity. Everything was sparkling clean. I wish we could have stayed longer and I would have enjoyed getting to know Alexandra better. She was a generous and thoughtful hostess who cares very much about providing hospitality for her guests. Although there is typically a breakfast included, we couldn't enjoy it because we had to leave at 6am. Instead Alexandra provided us fresh croissants, yogurt, and coffee. We were sorry to leave and hope to return.
