Hotel de France is housed in a former coaching inn and is located on the edge of Mende’s town centre. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Mende Cathedral.

Each room is equipped with air conditioning, a private bathroom and TV. We had one of the best dinners ever!! Great restaurant !

The rooms are beautifully designed, well maintained and homely - and stocked with thoughtful additions such as local wines. On arrival we were given a map showing our location and ten restaurant recommendations which made our overnight stay really easy. You can leave your car securely parked in the grounds and walk up into the walled town in just a few minutes. We didn’t get chance to use the pool but it looked great.

This option, which costs €18 per day per vehicle, must be booked in advance (subject to availability, as the number of spaces is limited). Our relaxation area is available until midnight (sauna, jacuzzi, fitness room, swimming pool heated between 23° and 25°). Montpellier is 35 km from La Villa Mazarin, while Nîmes is 43 km away. The nearest airport is Mediterranee Airport, 25 km from the property. Unique walled medieval city - and nice villa just in center.

This bed and breakfast is a 4-minute walk from Marseillan Port and 750 metres from the beach and a 12-minute drive from Marseillan Plage Beach. Free WiFi access is available Roberto was a truly excellent host. Great breakfast and conversation with the host in the mornings. Comfortable and quiet accommodations. Excellent location with ample free parking nearby, food market, restaurant, and wine store. Looking forward to our next stay!

Carcassonne Guesthouse is a B&B located in Carcassonne. The property is situated on the river Aude and features a shared terrace with views of the castle. The fortified city is just a 10-minute walk away. Free WiFi is provided throughout. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious with fantastic views.

Set within 29 km of Peak of Bugarach and 46 km of Termes Chateau in Espéraza, La Maison de la Riviere B&B features accommodation with free WiFi and seating area. It is situated 50 km from Peyrepertuse Castle and provides full-day security. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. We loved our stay at La Maison. Our room and the common areas were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The host was gracious and thoughtful. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in France. Also, there was parking for our bicycles.

Maison Orsini B&B is located just outside the historic city of Avignon and offers views over the Papal Palace, Avignon-Villeneuve and St André Fort. The decor is elegant and the historical building, dating from the 14h century, retains some of its original features, such as its monumental fireplace. Guests can enjoy the garden, terrace and outdoor pool. Selection of accommodation: rooms, suites, gites. We had two bedroom gite. V comfortable beds, charming, if rustic decor. Towels changed daily. Great breakfast with freshly- squeezed juice. Staff v thoughtful. Lovely terrace with in season restaurant. Amazing views of Avignon across the Rhône.

There is a garden area with large trees, and the Continental breakfast includes homemade French pastries and jam. This was the most beautiful, calming, and charming place we have ever stayed. The atrium is full of plants, trees, and unique pieces of art. Cozy seating areas surround the pool. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff, Elodie and the receptionist, are outstanding: helpful, friendly and fun. Breakfast, offering many choices, was delicious. Excellent location - easy walk into the heart of old Narbonne. Our experience was so wonderful we didn’t want to leave this lovely oasis.

The property is 5 km from the Béziers city centre and 2 km from the large theatre/concert venue Zinga Zanga. Reception, professionalism and discretion of the hosts. Style of the decoration and cleanliness of the place. Breakfast (much recommended). Swimming pool was great for the kids. Our dog was welcome. What else?
