The bright and airy bedrooms at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge each have a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee facilities. All rooms feature a modern bathroom, and many have cathedral views. Staying on Cathedral grounds was absolutely magical. The Lodge has a very lovely large garden with a dreamy view of the cathedral, a beautiful breakfast area with a very nice outside space, and the lounge looked inviting too. Breakfast options were wonderful. The room was pretty and practical, everything was spotless. Strolling on the grounds in the evening, when all the touristy hustle and bustle was over, was meditative and magical.

Each 10to12 guest room has an en-suite bathroom, flat-screen TV with DVD player, and tea/coffee making facilities. I did not think the room would be so lovely, opulent, and spotless. The hotel staff treated me like family, and as a traveler who is far from home, their thoughtful actions warmed my heart.

Beautiful inn with historical character. Very comfortable rooms and beds with modern bathrooms. Spotlessly clean. Adequate free parking in the lot outside. Very nice small touches like a small thermos of fresh milk left outside the door every morning for tea. Absolutely outstanding fully cooked breakfast supplemented with Continental breakfast items as well. An additional plus was the absolutely delicious evening meals available in the Restaurant/Pub located downstairs. The chef running the kitchen is clearly very talented. The Queen's Inn surpassed our expectations on all counts, and we would highly recommend it as a great place to stay.

The breakfast each morning was amazing, and Peter went out of his way to make sure there were plenty of kid friendly options for our girls. Staying here exceeded every expectation I had! The room was beautiful and there was PLENTY of space and beds for our family of 4. The location is also so great! It was a VERY short walk from the main part of town, and we really enjoyed the short walk each day. Our kids (6 and 8) could easily make the walk all around without complaining.

It is 'Highly Commended' by the AA. This little inn is an absolute gem of sumptuous welcome, class, and comfort. The dinners and breakfasts were served in a charming, well-lighted room. The food was superb, imaginative, and all taken care of by thoroughly professional staff. A true gem. The Le Palmier room was so roomy and had the biggest bath I have ever seen. What a joy!

It has a bar, library, and its Victorian walled garden is the largest in Canterbury. The staff were wonderful and bent over backwards to look after us. Not often you experience this level of service. We loved the decor of the rooms and facilities. Also only 5min walk from the train station. Great outdoor area too.
