Built on a rocky hillside, Blue Sand Hotel in Folegandros is just 15 metres from Agali Beach. Featuring the traditional Cycladic architecture, it offers units with Aegean Sea view and free Wi-Fi throughout. One of the most special places we have stayed. Waking up to that view every morning is such a treat. The breakfast is very generous and well thought out, it even includes healthy alternatives. Our room was so clean and spacious, and the staff were highly professional. This hotel is one of the pricier on the island but definitely worth it.

Centrally located in the scenic Folegandros Town, the Cycladic-style Folegandros Apartments features a pool, a hot tub and a poolside snack bar. It offers free Wi-Fi in all areas and elegantly decorated units with a balcony. The property is located in Chora at the top of the center. It’s just a 1 minute walk down to the center of the city, which has a lot of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. It’s also just where the stairs to the church starts (which I highly recommend climbing to see the sunset). The room was equipped with everything we needed and we especially appreciated the two balconies, allowing us the opportunity to sit both in the sun or in the shade. The pool area was very quiet and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Enjoying full views of the Aegean Sea, the white-washed Belvedere features self-catered accommodation and free Wi-Fi in public areas. It is located in Folegandros Town, around 500 metres from the central square with several taverns and bars. We had an amazing view of the sea both from our room and from the pool. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to my kids. When we got there, Yiannis gave us a printed map of the island with some tips and suggestions of places to go and where to eat. We had a very relaxing stay here, and my kids had an amazing time playing in the pool while my husband and I sat on the loungers enjoying some beverages. We will definitely be staying here again when visiting Folegandros.

Centrally located in Folegandros Town, the Cycladic-style Polikandia Hotel features a 21-metre heatedpool with separate children’s section and hot tub. Several bars and restaurants can be found at 60 metres, while Agali Beach is 3.5 km away. The property is beautiful in a perfect location. They have a nice swimming pool which is unique in Chora. Dimitris is an amazing host! We had a terrace with a breathtaking view. If you need a car, definitely rent it from the hotel. You will have a parking slot and your car will be ready every morning for you.

Boasting a privileged location a few metres away from Karavostasis Port, the 5-star Anemi offers minimal, design accommodation with Cycladic features. It includes a poolside a la carte restaurant and a bar, a fitness centre and a tennis court. The hotel is beautifully located close to the port and the infinity pool overlooks the Bay. We stayed here for 2 nights and loved every second. The rooms were spacious, the outdoor gym was well equipped for a whole body circuit and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly and gave us helpful advice for exploring nearby villages and beaches.
