Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can enjoy looking out into the traditional garden. Ueno Station is a 15-minute walk away. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They know English and are willing to help you with anything. They clean the room and give you new towels every day. The toilet is the normal western one, not the Japanese futuristic one but that's ok. The futons are very comfortable. The train station is very close and they have a convenient store close by.

Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. It features a French restaurant and stylish bars, and free WiFi is offered throughout. Its entrance is right next to the Marunouchi South Exit of Tokyo Station. We arrived very early, before 8 AM, and they kindly prepared a room for us by 10 AM, even though check-in was at 3 PM. Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath.

There is a bath for each gender on site and both the female and male baths offer a view of Senso-ji Temple’s Five-storied Pagoda. That has been an authentic experience! Staying in ryokan was amazing - room with tatami floor and futon was exactly what we needed to compliment our stay in Japan. The owner and staff were great and helpful. The bath on the top floor has very good facilities and unmatched view. We will definitely be back

Shiba Park Hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Onarimon Subway Station and a 4-minute walk from Daimon Subway Station. The spacious rooms include a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi is available at all areas. Public parking space is available on site at an additional charge. The room and bathroom was spacious. The overall feeling of the hotel was very luxurious with a beautiful interior on the ground floor. Staff was very helpful and always available.

Open from December 2015, Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole is located just a 2-minute walk from Oshiage Subway Station, the closest station from the Tokyo Skytree. It features free WiFi and a restaurant. Employees are so nice and professional, really a good experience.

Opened in August 2014 after a thorough renovation, Hotel Ryumeikan Ochanomizu Honten has been offering heartfelt hospitality for more than a century. Its sophisticated guest rooms feature modern facilities and traditional Japanese aesthetics. It is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Shin-Ochanomizu Subway Station. The room was exactly as advertised. It was roomy and luxurious. Staff was also helpful. My husband celebrated his birthday there and they provided a small birthday cake for us.

The elegant interior is designed with respect to culture and tradition suitable for being left to future generations. In the middle of Tokyo, feel the breath of each season as you experience a moment of relaxation. Absolute heaven! The garden is so beautiful it’s crazy and the hotel is gorgeous. Everything is perfect and they think of every little detail.

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. The hotel offers Japanese-style accommodation with a free private bath and free internet. Charming ryokan, in an excellent location, it was quite special to see the sky tree from the street. The private bath was a lovely addition. The room was spacious for Tokyo. The staff was always kind. Futons were super comfy.

Set in Tokyo, just a minute walk from JR Sugamo Station's A4 Exit, APA Hotel Sugamo Ekimae features a public bath and compact yet functional rooms with free WiFi access. Private parking is available at an additional charge. Nearby attractions include Rikugien Garden, a 20-minute walk away. Everything was comfortable and useful.

Open from December 2015, Hotel Risveglio Akasaka is located just a 2-minute walk from Akasaka Mitsuke Station on the Marunouchi Line. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property and there is a restaurant on-site. Everything was exceptional, nice staff, great location, and amazing facilities. We are definitely coming back.
