Located on a hilltop and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel serves French dinner with an advance reservation. Our room was an upgrade, except we could not get an upgraded room with one big bed. We had to take two twin beds. My wife and I have not slept separately in years, hahaha. But the hotel is incredibly cozy, a great old school vibe, and the room had an unbelievable view of Mt. Fuji. Highly recommend this hotel.

It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. fantastic onsenji hotel! the staffs are very friendly and helpful. the location is also very nice,which is walkable , as well as the bus station is upon it. hotel also provides pick-up and drop-off services to the kawaguchiko station. the amazing free breakfast and valuable dinner . onsenji is awesome!

The property is a 15-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. This villa is located probably the best place for Mount Fuji viewers. 2 mins walk and you are there! We’ve had a very late arrival due to delayed flights, but Hiro san was so helpful with all the travel details even step by step photos for us to find the place and made sure we have checked in. The villa was heated for us before arrival and that’s so considerate. The information folder in the room basically had everything you ever needed to know. Attention to details inside the cottage were also perfect. Everything is family friendly here and walkable distance to sight seeing bus and local attractions. Definitely recommend this place.

A 7-minute walk from Lake Kawaguchi, the 2-person cottages at Ururun have a quaint European charm and offer a spa bath with Mount Fuji views. Sleeping arrangements are Japanese-style, with futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Parking is free. We loved this accommodation and it was perfect for our family of 5. The host was so helpful and provided us with a very useful map of the area. The accommodation was clean and well thought out- we even had a hairdryer and useful items in the kitchen. The bedding was cozy, heating was good and I slept really well here. The view of Mount Fuji is incredible. We used a car to get around the area, as advised, and this worked well for us. Overall we would definitely recommend this accommodation and we would love to return. Wish we could have stayed here for longer!
