Set on the beautiful beach of Holbox Island, this accommodation offers privacy within a walking distance from the town centre. Palapas Del Sol features air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a pool. Everything was great! Room was clean and huge, private beach was extraordinary. Food was very good (we tried also lunch and everything was super-good!) and staff very kind. Furthermore, the area is really quite compared to the center of the village. Extra facilities available on-site like small gym, pool (mainly for kids) and yoga/massage room were completing our amazing stay.

It has 2 outdoor swimming pools, and an à la carte restaurant. Location is amazing. Quiet street close to the town centre. Staff was attentive and frendly. Good selection for breakfast. 2 swimming pools (one for aduls one for children). We stayed 5 nights in a bungalow, it was clean and comfy.

Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Certain units at the property feature a balcony with a sea view. WOW! This is quite simply the best hotel we've ever stayed at. We were fortunate enough to get a free upgrade after we let the property know we were celebrating our recent engagement and the room was incredible, enormous space, huge comfortable bed, giant balcony with whirlpool bath, plus welcome gifts and a sweet treat left in our room every night. The beach club is fantastic, never a rush on or lack of sunbeds, the staff are incredibly attentive and go above and beyond in catering to whatever wants or needs you may have. The pool is wonderful and a great place to cool off in the afternoon heat, the swim up bar is fantastic and the cocktails are incredible, and fairly priced relative to the rest of the island. The breakfast menu is extensive and delicious, and we also ate at the restaurant on our final night which was the best meal we had on the island. We also ended up opting to pay for a transfer back to Cancun airport through the hotel, which was a seamless and calm experience compared to sorting taxis/ferry/ADO ourselves. Huge thanks to all the staff for honestly making this the trip of a lifetime for us, we'll certainly be coming back!

Located around a few steps from Playa Holbox, the hotel with free WiFi is also 1.8 km away from Punta Coco. The accommodation offers room service, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. Location was ideal - right on a beautiful part of the beach with very little seaweed, a short walk into town and out of the busy hustle and bustle touristy area. Room was big and very clean. Property was very well taken care of and staff were lovely.

This secluded guest house is located outside the village of Tulum, only a short cab ride of the beach. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens.

Casa Don Diego features air-conditioning and private bathrooms in every guest room. All rooms feature a balcony or terrace. The room was decorated to perfection with lots of charm and character, and plenty of space to spread out. My son loved swinging on the hammock in the middle of the room. The pool was just a few steps from our room and a beautiful little oasis surrounded by flowering trees. Breakfast was delicious and included local honey.

Guests can explore the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, Tulum and Coba. The Lunata Hotel is within a short walk of the boutiques, shops and nightlife of the trendy Fifth Avenue. This was my 4th visit to Hotel Lunata in Playa del Carmen since 2002. On the surface, very little has changed over the years. In this case, that is a very good thing! Of course there has been some modernization in that time, such as very good WiFi for each room, however the warm and inviting room design, the friendly staff and the overall impression the hotel leaves have all not changed. We again had a very pleasant visit and were sad to leave. The breakfast is very basic with some cereals, tea, coffee and toast. It’s enough to get you going into the day, but it’s not a feast and is not the main focus of this boutique hotel. It is self-service in the Lunata natural garden, just like it was in 2002. We brought some fruits from the market and the staff offered to peel and cut the fruit for us. Fantastic service.
