Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, Ren I Tang Heritage Inn is located in a restored building from the 1800s. Spanning an area of 3 shop house units, the property features free WiFi, a restaurant and small museum on the ground floor, which used to be a medical hall. This was really a flawless hotel. I was looking for a heritage hotel and this fit the bill. Stand outs were the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, all of them! The location, the breakfast which offered perfect variety without being an overwhelming buffet, the rooms, the coffee machine and cleanliness were all excellent.

Noordin Mews is situated a 5-minute walk from Komtar and 1st Avenue. Heritage Area is a 10-minute walk from the hotel while Gurney Drive is a 15-minute drive away. Really like this hotel. The room is comfortable, the breakfast tastes great which is included in the room fee, and it has a swimming pool to relieve the daytime’s stress!

Featuring spacious suites with free Wi-Fi, it an art gallery and its own coffee museum. Quaint old building, nicely updated. The AC was not up to par the first day and when we mentioned it, the manager got someone right in to service it. Friendly helpful staff. We very much enjoyed our stay!
