Cardrona Hotel features an iconic on-site restaurant and bar. You can enjoy the picturesque gardens while sipping a drink on the patio. This hotel features a hot tub, a ski drying room and shared lounge and laundry facilities. It was a welcome rest as we arrived by bike. The front entrance is vintage and unassuming…but behind the long hedge is a huge beer garden which serves very tasty and reasonably priced food. We didn’t go in to the restaurant as the beer and garden food sufficed. The room was comfortable and looked in to the courtyard. The staff were all very friendly and were able to accommodate our bicycles. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend people go in the front door and check it out.

Akaroa Criterion Motel is situated opposite Children’s Bay. It is a 16-minute walk from Mt Vernon Akaroa. Location was perfect, and the view from the room was beautiful! Very comfortable room, got a great rest!

Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. There is free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi. This is a very nice, clean and comfortable place to stay for Mount Cook tracks. You won’t regret to choose it. Can choose to cook inside the room’s kitchen if you bring food into the village, however, you can also choose to go to the bar and grill nearby.

Delorenzo Studio Apartments offers a heated outdoor pool, on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access. Studios come with a kitchenette, laundry facilities and a private bathroom. Some apartments feature a spa bath. We loved our stay here. We used it as a base to hike Abel Tasman. We forgot out jackets here and the staff had it curriered to our next place and it arrived there when we got there. Loved the washer and dryer in the suite small kitchen and perfect location. Easy walk to town centre.

Just 4 minutes’ drive from Lake Wanaka, the property features free WiFi and barbecue facilities. The chalet was outstanding, the kitchen was fully equipped and the laundry machine was a life saving.

The motel staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon check-in they gave us a city map, provided some suggestions on what to see, and answered our questions. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great. Road access was easy and it was a short, easy walk into town.
