Theresa was such a brilliant hostess, she made it feel like home.Breakfast was just right to set you up for the day. The food in the evenings was beautifully prepared. I would definitely recommend Casa de Proteas for a beautiful and relaxing holiday destination.

Set on Madeira’s South Coast, Ponta do Sol has a stunning infinity pool and hot tub with panoramic views. I was looking forward to staying at this place - and It didn’t disappoint me! Stylish, modern, great architecture perfectly built-in the surrounding nature, featuring cool colorful details. The room was great, the view - amazing! I liked the outdoor pool a lot, as well as hot tub with 180* view on the ocean. I also spotted try yoga studio there - will try next time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, check-in and checkout are quick and smooth. The breakfast is amazing, featuring buffet and menu.

Each accommodation is elegantly decorated and includes tea-and-coffee making facilities, a minibar, and a balcony with sea views. All rooms have a seating area with a sofa. I liked the location. It was next to the natural pools and you get free access once a day. They had a lot of vouchers and free options to do so that was amazing. The room was always super clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. They help you with renting a car and your drive back to the airport. The view was amazing from the room. The breakfast was good. We stayed there a whole week. The island is small enough to stay at one place. You can explore the island by renting a car.

We enjoyed the breakfast spread and the kids had a great time at the indoor heated pool.

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 900 metres from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces. Free WiFi and free covered private parking are available. The perfect service was the possibility to park directly in the basement of the hotel. Although the parking area is small and maneuvering a car is sometimes difficult, without this parking it would be a big problem where to leave the car arround the hotel.

Breakfast was great. We enjoyed sauna too. Private outdoor bathtube was amazing.
