Hotel Skeppsholmen’s rooms feature windows with traditional wooden shutters. Each bathroom includes a designer Italian wash basin by Boffi and modern shower. Bathrobes and slippers are also included. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were extremely helpful and cheery. Room was lovely and quiet and also comfortable and clean.

Some include bathrobes and slippers, plus views over the tree-lined Mariatorget Square. It is a kind of empty phrase to state that the staff was friendly and did it best to help, because there are places where even with the best intentions of the staff the service remains poor. Not here. Already the standard service offered was excellent, and the staff not only tried to help, but actually did. The additional services, such as early check-in and the like, meant immense increase in comfort in the given situation.

Opened in January 2015, Hotel Kungsträdgården is housed in a fully-renovated 18th century building in central Stockholm. Situated next to the King’s garden, the financial and shopping districts are also within walking distance. The Stockholm Central Station is 1 km away. Great location. Clean property. Nice breakfast

Located in the centre of Stockholm’s medieval Gamla Stan quarter, these bright apartments are 3 minutes’ walk from the picturesque Stortorget Square. Apartments come with kitchen facilities and free Wi-Fi. The location was amazing, easy walking distance to everything Gamla Stan has to offer. Supermarket and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Based on reviews from others, I made sure I selected a ground floor apartment and was glad I did :-) The old building is just beautiful, but no elevator means you have to be able to manage bags up and down stairs. Also, the area is limited to cars during certain times. This meant that our driver had to drop us as close to the apartment as possible and then it was dragging our bags over cobblestones for a little way. It was all worth it though! The apartment was beautifully decorated, very spacious and comfortable. The huge kitchen was extremely well equipped. We were greeted by Matilda who was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Situated by the National Museum, this chic waterfront hotel offers views of the Old Town and Royal Palace. It offers a popular bistro-style restaurant and art exhibitions. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The hotel staff is wonderful. They listened to all requests and fulfilled all wishes. The hotel itself is very beautiful, full of art pieces, and the breakfast is excellent. I would like to thank you for the music that was playing in the restaurant - it's pleasant to the ear and creates a very good atmosphere. I know I will come back here again.

Opened in May 2016, Haymarket by Scandic is an art-deco themed hotel situated next to Hötorget Square in central Stockholm. It features modern design and architecture, as well as a cocktail bar, small cinema and fitness centre with a glass roof. WiFi is free. Super nice recepcionist that upgraded our room without a cost. Super comfy beds, well decorated rooms. The best: the breakfast, super varied and delicious food. Also the location is perfect to get around Stockholm. Hope to come back to try the cocktail bar.

Best Western and hotel offers modern and compact accommodation in central Stockholm. The hotel has a fitness centre with a sauna, while food and refreshments are offered at the restaurant and bar. There is free WiFi access throughout the hotel. Friendly staff. Allowed to check-in early free of charge. Exceptional breakfast with a lot of options, including good cheese selection, herring, etc. Good gym. Center location with everything walkable. Room is actually not that small if you have ever been to HK for example. And it has even iron and a board.
