Located in a historic building that previously housed a Benedictine monastery, this Pittsburgh hotel offers a courtyard garden decorated in the style of an Italian Villa. A complimentary grab n' go breakfast is served every morning. I enjoy staying at unique places rather than chain hotels. The Priory fit the bill. Price was very reasonable especially considering parking and breakfast were included. The room was comfortable with tv, coffee maker, and small refrigerator. Toiletries and hairdryer in bathroom. Nice workout room in basement. Not right downtown, but a convenient drive to most places. I suspect we could have walked some places had the weather been better. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast is pre-ordered the night before and then provided in a grab and go bag. There is a nice area in which to eat it. Courtyard is lovely.
