Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Upon entering reception, we were warmly greeted and efficiently checked in. After that, we had a personal tour around the property and then were shown our wonderful chalet. The deck is large and has a fabulous view of the canyon forest. The bed is comfortable. The bathing area is AMAZING. The restaurant staff is excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and the area. The food is great! We already have it in mind for our next visit to the Storms River area!

A fabulous one night stay in Dune Beach House. The view from the room was amazing. The welcome drink was really appreciated. The beach bag filled with beach essentials like towels, table tennis and a frisbee which was left in the room was a lovely touch. The breakfast in the morning was great and again the view was stunning.

Some suites offer a view of the Knysna lagoon. Amazing hotel. Room was lovely and spacious, staff were so helpful and breakfast was really tasty. Beautiful views of the lagoon from the hotel. Great location, quick 15 min walk to the waterfront.

Falcons View Manor is 1 km from Knysna Harbour, where you can rent a boat and explore the Knysna National Lakes Area. The hotel is 5 km from Simola Golf Club, which was designed by the great Jack Nicklaus. My stay at Falcons Manor exceeded expectations. I stayed for a week and planned to do hiking and yoga while in the area. The staff were superb, they provided great advice, connected me with local services and guides; they were thoughtful and helpful. The food was excellent, dinners and breakfast. The breakfast choices were many, with lots of fresh fruits and great coffee. The pool was great and the gardens are lovely. A very relaxing and quiet location. I can’t recommend the place enough! Thank you for everything!
