Small private hotel with lovely ambience in reception and garden patio area. Warm welcoming staff. A bowl of fresh apples and coffe available was appreciated. Microwave available in breakout reception area Small single room very functional and well designed. Clean. Comfortable bed and linens. Very quiet and good mechanised exterior blinds achieved a dark room for sleeping. Location. Easy walk from train or into old town but free Bern travel card and buses and trams every minute allows easy access everywhere

The hotel is very close to the train station (3 min. walk). Staff were very helpful, in fact we needed an adapter to charge our laptop and they provided us with one, free of charge. Breakfast was exceptional. We also had a nice view from our room. Bed and pillows were super comfy.

I enjoyed the large contemporary room with huge windows and a stunning view of Bern, the Bundeshaus and surrounding mountains. Dinner at the Japanese restaurant was fun and delicious. I enjoyed the sauna and pool. The complimentary robe, towel and slippers was a nice touch. Free parking in the garage is a plus as well as the tram stop right in front of the hotel. All personnel were friendly and helpful.
