Very friendly and helpful hotel operators with lots of tips for hiking routes. Both Chinese and English is spoken. The hotel is located 30 meters from the main shopping street but still absolutely quiet. Clean rooms. It was a very pleasant stay. Baisha as one of the 3 old towns of Lijiang is the ideal starting point for hikes into the Yulong Mountains and yet not far from Lijiangs historical old town.

Staying here is one of the best decisions, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is a bit of a distance from the old town, yet it's still within walking range, and convient to take didi. The room is just as lovely as depicted in the pictures. Plus, the dog and cat extremely cute!

We just really loved the Bivou. I read very good reviews, but still the place exceeded my expecations. If I am ever going to write my memoires, I will do it here:) This place just breaths tranquility. We loved the little vegetable gardens in front of the hotel, the staff was extremely helpful and the area around the hotel is really lovely. I travelled the whole world and Le Bivou definitely makes it to my worldwide top 5.

This is a beautiful boutique quaint gem of a place in Lijiang. It has a stunning view from the dinning room window of the rooftops in Lijiang. It is perfectly located, right in the middle of the Old Town Lijiang. The staff of this hotel is friendly, helpful and with a "I can help you with that" attitude. It was wonderful to spend Christmas here.

The room is very clean, just like the picture, is a beautiful small yard, you can see a little bit of sunlight on the roof in the morning. And the location of the hotel is very good. In the ancient city, it is very close to all the sign-in points, such as Cherry Blossom Restaurant and rooftop coffee. It is only ten minutes' walk from the south gate, and it is convenient to take a taxi. The boss is very nice and comes out to pick us up and take our luggage. The first night because of a person's activities, the boss also took to drink tea, coffee, but also can walk the big dog in the inn, and the boss is also very enthusiastic to help take pictures, emotional value full!

The experience of this stay was really great! We were very satisfied with the hotel's service from check-in to check-out. The room is spacious and bright, with complete facilities, especially the design of the bathroom is very user-friendly. The hotel's location is also very advantageous, with convenient transportation and numerous surrounding attractions. It was also very enjoyable to dine at the restaurant near the hotel in the evening, with a variety of delicious dishes. Next time I come to Lijiang, I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again

A 10 star rating is an understatement for the hospitality and warmth we received. The location is beautiful, a stunning terrace with an overview of the old town, lots of plants and pretty flowers. We got a room upgrade for free and the room was spacious, well equipped (best equipped room in fact we had in China). You can tell that a lot of love and attention to detail was put into the design of this accomodation. The location is very central yet quiet at night. The highlight of it all was the lovely, generous and genuine owner. She took time to recommend us great restaurants and vegetarian dishes. Checked in on us regularly to make sure we are having a great time. And when I was sick she even brought food and medicine. It felt like home and being taken care of by family. I have never experienced such a hospitality and am very grateful. I highly, highly recommend this place when you're visiting Yunnan. The owner has travelled all over the world and has lots of interesting stories and insights to share, definitely recommend you to have a chat with her over tea.

Such a great stay! The hotel is great, good location and facilities. The real star is the incredibly helpful staff!! They are truly amazing in a way that will make your stay so wonderful and easy. They help you find the property very easily, come help you with your luggage at the edge of town, and are always available for any questions you might have about anything. They were a tremendous help in assisting me getting to the Tiger Leaping Gorge and on my way to Shangri-La. They were so sweet to keep checking up on me to make sure all went smoothly, I could find the driver and to make sure the driver knew exactly where to drop me off. Highly recommend.
