beautiful rooms, many perks that come with it : one delicious free beer every night from the bar next door, apparently a pool access at the hotel nearby, and super kind staff that speaks great English and accommodating with our requests. good location, and they even brought us cheesecake one night for my friend’s birthday! rooms have larger toiletry bottles instead of the classic small ones, so it’s better for the environment :)

Overall my recent stay at Intercontinental Kuming is with absolute satisfactory. Especially I was very happy for the assistance by the Concierge te4am. Mr Smulin was very helpful to me such as buying new air tickets to other city of China and further amendments as well as arrangement for my airport transfer. The hotel is modern, very clean, and the rooms are very well-sized. The reception is staffed by young people who really helped me communicate through Google Translate. This actually worked very well and also helped me get information about the city and book a tour to Shilin Stone Forest. I really liked the hotel.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. We took 3 Jens King rooms for the 4 of us, and everyone was very happy with the hotel. Rooms are very well appointed, clean and well-designed. Everything we needed are there. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The black-out blinds were perfect for a complete dark room at night, and the sound-proofing very good. We really like the auto hot/cold water dispenser. Every hotel room should have one! My family love the gym. This gym has to be the best equipped hotel gym that we have ever come across. It also has a lovely heated indoor pool. Pity none of us came with our swim wear as we certainly didn't expect to swim in winter. Location also very handy. 5 mins walk to the new Spring 66 Mall, which is a very nice mall. If we are ever back in Kunming, this will be the hotel we stay again and again. No brainer.

This was our first stop in Yunnan and I have to say the hotel was amazing! It must be quite new, as everything still looks very sparkly! Rooms are super functional, nice size and very pretty. Every restaurant we went was great! The breakfast buffet is amazing! We had a buffet dinner there for New Year's Eve and it was super good too. Once we had a small snack in the lobby lounge on the ground level and the food was also fantastic and so was the staff! Bonus points for the next door shopping mall which is very cool too. Would definitely recommend when in Kunming.
