Location is just walking distance from metro station and Yu Garden. The room is comfortable and modern. Mr. Peter and Mr. Mark at reception are very helpful and did their best to address my needs.

The hotel offered a luxurious sophisticated experience but was also refined and elegant. We loved our room’s styling, the super comfortable beds and the glorious round bath. The Roof Bar on 29/f had amazing views, we loved the delicious dishes in the Cantonese restaurant and the Lobby Bar had wow factor and great cocktails.

No doubt about rating this hotels. I would give 20 if this was allowed. Everything above expectations. Design (art deco), room quality with the highest appreciation to every detail. Do not be put off by the walk way or building entrance look. There is sufficient lighting along the way to the unit. Instructions to locate the building and access to the room was very clear and detailed. The 2 bedroom, hall and kitchen are well decorated and have all the necessary utensils, cups, wine glasses fork n spoon, microwave oven, fridge, washing machine. Basically all that is needed for a family room is available. Aircon work well although have a unique way to turn on as detailed in the Instructions. There is a number lock metal luggage cabinet where you can put about 2x24" and 1 back pack luggage for pre-check in and after check-out. Instructions to clear the rubbish at the rubbish dump was very clear. The unit are protected with a CCTV outside the unit at the 5th floor.
The owner was very fast and responsive and helpful.
The stylish Hotel Indigo Shanghai On The Bund is located along the Huangpu River, with spectacular views of Pudong.

Room design, as always indigo style but this Shanghai property is the best, room is bright and facing one of most iconic rivers.
I booked 3 rooms, and one of the rooms had the worst view facing a building across.a very attentive Staff member replaced it the next day to one of the best view.

Fantastic Location and very authentic old shanghai style building. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was kind but it would be great if they can speak a bit of english. We communicated thru translation app though.
