The environment is very good, the scenery is beautiful, the room space is large, the lighting is good, the facilities are complete, the butler service is very good, the local specialty breakfast is also great, there is free parking, and travel is also very convenient. Highly recommended

Mary was an amazing host . Accommodation top notch , food fabulous and owner was helpful beyond belief. We had one and a half days in the park and managed to get to see the so much thank to the itinerary and support provided by our host Mary. She even realised we were running late for our train getting through through the park she suggested getting our driver she had booked for us to meet us at the exit point of the park. She goes beyond what you would expected of a host and we are so fortunate to have booked her homestay . We plan to come back 🙏

The location near the west gate is excellent because you enter the parc very quickly, they take you to the entrance in five minutes by car, anytime you ask. We had no lines for buses ou cable cars. In some areas of the park the roads are closed so for people staying in the south entrance and wanting to see for instance the Avatar mountains and other areas this means waiting in line for several buses in sequence and climbing a very, very long stair to get to the cable car. From the west entrance it is very quick. A dip in the swimming pool was very good after a long day of hiking. The terrace for the meals had a beautiful view and was really pleasant. The food was delicious. The rooms were spacious and the beds confortable, shower very good and towels fluffy. The staff was really caring. Lucas was helping everyone with planning the itineraries in the park, making it really easy, and got us several tickets too. This was extremely helpful, as Chinese people are lovely but we don’t speak Chinese so it may get difficult. Lucas told us to send him messages by wechat if needed and always responded immediately, which really helped when we got a bit stuck. He and his staff are really caring and make you feel very welcome. Can’t praise them enough!

Carol was very accommodating, friendly and trustworthy! She gives you all the tips and tricks to get around the park in the most efficient way possible. The walk was also very quick, if you walk fast the gate is less than 5mins away. We had several problems during our trip but Carol was always willing to help us figure things out immediately. Can’t get this type of hospitality from many other accommodations. We really liked the food especially the beer duck it was amazing.

The location is amazing. It is very remote, giving you a great sense of peace. The staff is amazing. Frankie went out of his way to make it comfortable for us. He had great advice on what to do in the region and helped us a lot. His English is also great. Yang Ma let us taste a lot of tea that she made herself. It was absolutely delicious and she also taught us new things! In the bar they have a karaoke setup and we sang to our hearts content with Yang Ma. The food is also superb and really comforting after walking in the park for a day. Sadly the weather wasn't great when we visited so we did not enjoy the infinity pool, but it looks amazing. We will defenitely return here if we come to Zhangjiajie again.

The helpfulness of the owner already started days before our arrival. Make sure you have WeChat before you get here, and that you have a decent translation app. English is poorly spoken here, but the helpfulness is beyond anything I have ever expected. Also the room is amazing.

What a splendid spot. Tucked right by the park entrance, it offers remarkable convenience without sacrificing an ounce of tranquillity. Waking up to those peaks each morning was rather special. The team here runs a tight ship – everything is spotless and handled with quiet efficiency. The breakfast set us up perfectly for the day. We shall certainly return.

Great accommodation, just at the Gate to Avatar Mountains. Carol, the owner, speaks fluent english, gave us all advice for the trips, booked tickets etc. Very good local food at restaurant just downstairs

The staff was incredibly helpful they helped us to buy the tickets for ZJJ national park and Tianmenshan and also to organise the tour. The position is perfect to visit ZJJ National Park, just 2 minutes by car from the north entrance cableway. The food and the room exceeded our expectations. It was a wonderful experience especially because of the place where we were staying. We definitely recommend it!
