The room is big enough, very clean, attracively decorated and the bed is really comfortable. The breakfast is really tasty and offers a good variety of products. I really had a lovely stay in this hotel. Its a renovated old schoolhouse and you can see its evolution from school to hotel on various trendy pictures on the corridor walls. It's very nicely decorated in a modern style but manages to keep its old worldly charms. The breakfast room is very large (like a school canteen) and there was a large selection of things to eat. Really enjoyed the breakfast! Our room was comfortable, spacious and quiet. The location was good too for what we needed. There is a U-bahn stop about 5 minutes walk away which brings you to the city centre in about 20minutes. There is a nice and cozy bar / lounge area just left of the reception area. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I really liked my stay here. If I return to Hamburg one day I would go back here again without hesitation (if not too expensive). I think I got a good deal this time.

A fantastic hotel in a great part of town. The hotel itself is great but the staff make the experience one to remember. The rooms are luxurious and stylish with super comfy beds and pillows. The breakfast in the brasserie is epic. I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful hotel!

Quite a spacious room, very well maintained. Very close to Baumwall station, easy to go to harbour cruise. Staff is polite and conversant in English.
