This hostel is simply perfect! Spacious dorms with very comfy and private beds in an old but very charming colonial building. Hot water in the showers. A lot of common areas to hang out including a nice garden. Inside very quiet at night but located very near to Centro historico in a quite safe area. Inside the hostel you felt very safe. The staff was very kind and incredibly helpful. All you need for a very reasonable price. In our 4-month journey through South America by far the best hostel and we felt sad when we had to leave, thanks Guys.

Hotel is high class and the breakfast is absolutely amazing! Definitely will stay here again when in Quito. The location is close to a park and a botanical garden. Parking is good and safe.

We chose this hotel for our first trip to South America because we had brilliant experiences with a Swissotel in Izmir, Turkey - and we couldn't have made a better choice! Wonderful spacious suite with breathtaking fews, a fantastic pool, hall, bar, the executive lounge with lovely food and drink and an even better few - I don't even know where to start. It was all wonderful, but the best bit is the staff. Everybody is helpful, patient, so friendly and helpful that you feel like royalty. Especially the wonderful people at the executive lounge and at the reception deserve a mention - and the gentleman by the lift who always helped my wive finding her way. And the gorgeous people in the Spanish restaurant ... and and and. This hotel is a treat. Don't miss it!

This is an interesting, quirky and altogether delightful hotel. The senora and her staff were friendly and helpful, the room was large, quiet and comfortable and they served a delicious breakfast. On our first afternoon we asked for some laundry to be done. It was returned 4 hours later and we were charged a fraction of what we had paid in other hotels. They also arranged for our taxi to the airport (paid). The hotel is just around the corner from Calle de Ronda, which has interesting shops and some great restaurants at very good prices. NB we visited in June 2024 and had no issues with safety in that area. You just need to take the same precautions as a tourist that you would anywhere, and there are plenty of police on patrol in Quito.
