What a fantastic place, with a fantastic host! Perfect location in the historical centre of Bordeaux (outside of the busy area), beautiful charming and spotless clean house, delicious and diverse breakfast. The room was comfortable, with a beautiful small terrace facing the garden, so perfectly quiet at night. We were so friendly received by Bruno, who invitied us for a drink, we felt directly at home. He gave us great advice on visiting the city and he was a great conversation partner on art, travelling, music and whatnot. This is one of the best accomodation we have ever stayed at, so do yourself a favour and stay there if in Bordeaux.

A very pretty apartment in a fairly central location, about 20-30 mins walk from most sights but the trams and buses were so efficient and easy to use (especially with a CityPass) that it was no problem. The real gem was the balcony. Admittedly small, but perfect for two people to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. Yes, it is up three flights of stairs (which are full of plants and light from above) but the aircon and views made it all worthwhile.
