The apartment was small but very cozy, with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. It was surprisingly quiet, with no noise coming in from the street. The location is great – close to Birmingham city centre, with easy access by bus or car. The neighborhood has a lively, multicultural atmosphere, especially in the afternoons and evenings, and you’ll find plenty of grocery stores, small shops, hairdressers, cafés, and fast food options within walking distance. One tip: if you’re arriving late (as we did), make sure to watch the video you’ll receive before your stay. It explains exactly where to go and how to access the apartment, which makes arrival much smoother.

Non of the facilities that were included in my booking were available. There was mould over the walls. The landlord was very rude to me and made me feel very intimidated and uncomfortable. The landlord told me to make contact when I was at the property to direct me to my room but it took him 2hours to answer to me, leaving me waiting around in a strange place, cold and dark, 36weeks pregnant. The room the landlord put me in when he arrived was in a loft room, was tiny with no window and no ventilation, no TV, and even when he saw how far gone I was he said that doesn't matter and I had to climb on my hands and knees up the steepest stairs I have ever seen to the loft room.
