The staff were helpful and friendly plus little details like fresh apples were appreciated. The room had great water pressure and hot water, a comfortable bed, and was very quiet. For someone travelling alone I felt safe in the neighbourhood. There is a metro stop close by which can easily take you to the Pest side and to connect with the 100E AirPort Express bus. The stairs up to the castle are next to the hotel and the river is a half-block away.

The 4-star hotel Castle Garden is located in the first district of Budapest, at the famous tourist attraction of Buda Castle.

We stayed here in October for 4 nights and will definitely be returning here . It was so lovely, the main building is fab , the staff was so helpful. Our room was great , bed so comfy especially the pillow , bathroom was well equipped with lovely toiletries and a great shower . The room overlooked the courtyard and bistro . Everywhere was kept very clean , the breakfast was beautiful,with a great variety , eggs were lovely. We also ate in there sister restaurant one evening which was so good , overlooked Buda The location of this hotel is perfect Can’t wait to come back .

Really cozy accommodation. Responsive and hospitable hosts, we are grateful. Everything is clean and comfortable. Beautiful original design. There is everything you need. Very nice balcony, it is nice to drink coffee and look at the wonderful courtyard with beautiful plants, even a magnolia was blooming. Comfortable bed. Quiet at night. The location deserves special mention. There are many cafes nearby and grocery stores within walking distance. If possible, we will stay there again!

Friendly helpful host (Monica). Apartment clean, comfortable with everything you would need. Good travel links to Pest and walking distance to Fisherman's Bastion, etc. We were able to drop our bags off before check in, and leave them after check out. Never got to hang out on the rooftop terrace, unfortunately, due to the rain.

Great location for exploring Buda Castle attractions and easy public bus transport into central Pest side of town. Large living space and nice kitchen for self catering. Great washing machine and heated drying rack for 2hour wet to dry washing if needed. Quiet leafy location to relax after intense days of site seeing. Apartment was centrally heated, always nice an warm on our return. One evening we went to Matthias Cathedral for a concert and it took us less than 7 min to be back inside the apartment once we found the short cut and elevator to whisk you off the hill.
