As someone who was traveling alone for the first time, I was anxious to book this hostel since it was new and had very few reviews. But it turned out great. Loved the hostel ambiance, bed, bathrooms were clean, people were respectful to each other, the receptionists were helpful. If you're traveling to Reykjavik via bus or cab, use the landmark as Bus Stop #9 or #13, as the hostel is very close to it. Use the same bus stop for your tours. The famous church is just 5 min walk from the hostel. There's a fast food restaurant right next to the hostel which was great to grab a quick bite to eat.

Breakfast was amazing! We were leaving early in the morning for the tour so a good breakfast was important. The host is super friendly and gave us some tips on what to do in Reykjavik. This place is super comfortable and felt like home. It is perfect if you want to explore the center of Reykjavik as it is located in the heart of the historic district and everything is within walking distance.
