Very easy check-in, and the location is close to the Bolzano train station, which is our base for hiking in Dolomites over the past few days without a car. The room was clean and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

This hotel is an absolute charming mixture of old and new. They have played with the architecture, so traditional frescos, stones, iron work, and furnishing are styled in sleek modern ways. The amenities are fantastic. Rooms warm and spacious with comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. The rooftop terrace has a lovely view over the old city and surrounding mountains. Breakfast was delicious. I’m already planning to come back!

I like the location. It is near to the train station. Very easy to go there. The room is very nice and cozy. We can see some snow from the window. The owner is also very helpful.

What a wonderful experience at Castel Hörtenberg! Every aspect of my stay was great, from the comfortable bed to the delicious breakfast. As frequent visitors to Bolzano, we've experienced many hotels, and Castel Hörtenberg stands out as one of the absolute best. But the highlight for me was the incredible staff, especially the charming and exceptionally kind Ms.Tatjana working at the reception. She was not only beautiful but also incredibly efficient and helpful, always ready with a genuine smile and great advice. Her warmth and professionalism made me feel so welcome and truly valued as a guest. She's a true asset to the hotel, making an already excellent stay even better!

Also to have a spa treatment is absolutely a must have - I enjoyed the inner balance chakra treatment & felt after super relaxed.
