Very Shows era. Very Japanese. Typical Japanese onsen hotel. Quiet and relaxed. Geared for those who like to use the onsen several times a day and relax in their room in between.

The personal was beyond amazing. They were extremely friendly and helpful since we arrived and cattered to all our needs. They were true professionals and showed that they care for their ryokan and its guests.
Moreover, the ryokan was in perfect condition with a lovely vintage atmosphere to it. The room was finely decorated with genuine Japanese style. Truly a gem.

Everything was clean as guests have to leave their shoes in lockers beside the entrance of the hotel. There is an onsen at the top level and even free ice cream for guests. Laundry wash is heavy duty and frer and the dryer only cost ¥300. Staff was always polite and greeted us.
It is fairly near to the Matsumoto train station and bus terminal. This made it convenient for us to travel around.
