The staff were very professional and accommodating. They arranged for the bus to take us to the train station out of the regular schedule. They were also accommodating with making a western style breakfast for those that didn't want a traditional Japanese meal.

this is a fantastic small Japanese style inn that has great shared showers area and a restaurant that serves yummy breakfast and dinner if you wish. we stayed in a large tatami style family room that had private sink and toilet, and found the shared shower and bath area very clean and great hot water pressure. the inn is basically a old private home that has been turned into a boutique inn. the location is fantastic, less than 10 minutes on foot to train station, museums, castle, and all the picturesque shopping streets. great restaurant on premise served delicious and reasonably priced set menu. this is a delightful property!
