The location was perfect for our needs. They have a fabulous breakfast spread and everyone was very helpful. We needed to take a train and bus to different locations in Japan and both were located within a short walk from the hotel.
Beautiful room and super comfy bed! Can't recommend it enough.

Absolutely stunning hotel, in a great location. The hotel is in impeccable condition, beds are comfy, rooms beautiful and the bar area, Peacock Alley, is amazing.
Above all, the staff are incredibly professional. Courteous, friendly and you can tell they have been extremely well trained. Moe, I think it was, who looked after us at breakfast was what every person working in customer service should be like.
Can't recommend the hotel highly enough.

Close to Osaka Station within the Umeda business district.Plenty of swanky department stores in easy reach. The Ignite Cafe on the ground floor has a good salad bar. The hotel staff are professional and switched on. We booked a twin room with a view of the city. It was roomy and comfortable. The cocktail Bar near reception has a great view and was a nice spot for a negroni. If I was ever to revisit Osaka I would stay here again.

Best IBIS ever!!!! Yes I mean it! This Ibis is incredibly good! Nice clean rooms, shower is fantastic, breakfast overwhelming! Position in Umeda super central, lovely staff!

Loved how the hotel situated literally next to the train stations and there were malls EVERYWHERE! Even the hotel itself had a mall! Staff were friendly and helpful! worth your stay. Checking in and checking out were really easy too! Just had to self check in and self check out using the machines. STAY HERE!

Enjoyed the whole experience of the Hotel Monterey Osaka, Only real issue I had is trying to find out how to turn off the lights to go to bed the first night. Was not aware of special buttons on night stand. Actually a guy that stayed there and did a YouTube video showed his on the headboard. LOL.
