This was the most amazing accomodation i had in 2 weeks travelling around Japan! The house was amazingly nice, comfortable, clean. Every detail was designed with a great taste. Warm heating under the table, very sophisticated pillows wich gave me the best sleep, wooden bathroom! It is perfect. The best accomodation in Japan!

It’s a single apartment not far from Morning markets. Fab location. Super comfy bed! It’s two levels so if you can’t do stairs, it’s not a good option as bathroom is downstairs. Loved the poem and artwork on walls. Very beautiful And thoughtful ❤️

Our hosts were amazing. Apple pie to welcome us and lots of information to help us plan our stay. The rooms are warm and cozy and the hot shower was great. A nice quiet location but so close to everything meant we walked everywhere. Shared a wonderful meal out with our hosts on our last night at one of their favorite local restaurants. I cannot say enough good things about this property, it was amazing from start to finish and far exceeded my expectations. The location for starters is brilliant, right in the historic centre of town and close to everything. The traditional house is gorgeous, even nicer than the photographs and feels very newly decorated, all the detailing is beautiful. The beds are very comfortable and the house is very well equipped with nice touches like tea/coffee, water in the fridge, lots of toiletries etc. Finally the staff were so friendly and accommodating and we were able to check out slightly later and store our luggage while we waited for our bus. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it for a stay in Takayama!
