The hotel is very good situated in Takayama, near the train station and also near the old city.
The staff is extremely helpful and nice (even that they almost speak no English).
The room was big and well equipped. The Onsen is very nice.
Dinner was superb with all kind of Japanese plates. The staff explained every thing what it was and how we were supposed to eat it, everything was served in a beautiful way.

Beautiful modern-style accommodation tucked away in old Takayama - we arrived at IORI Stay after a lot of continuous travel so it was a perfect place to slow down for a couple of days, relax and take in the beautiful historic center of Takayama. Staff were lovely and helpful, the breakfast bento boxes were delicious, and they accommodated us as vegetarians - the accommodation had enough luxury but was also minimalist in a way that made the whole experience feel charming and more like home than a hotel.

This is a modern, beautiful little house with many comfortable areas, a fantastic washing machine and dryer, a charming garden in a quiet beautiful neighbourhood of Takayama. The wi-fi works perfectly, I had to work remotely and had no problems at all. This was our best stay in our trip to Japan.
