There was not one aspect of my stay that didn’t exceed my expectations. The staff and especially the manager are all very well informed and helpful. I began my Maputo experience at another hotel that is supposed to be one of the best hotels in the city but it was only after moving to Oryx that I really felt comfortable. This is a new hotel and the tv selection is incredible plus you can hire a car and driver through Oryx at a fair price. There are small cafes in the immediate area and a Mercado just steps away from the hotel.

BONUS: Someone will typically be available to wash your car if desired (for a fee of course) NOISE: Nothing notable LENGTH OF STAY: 3-4 weeks across a few different rooms STAFF: Very responsive and accommodating. ADDITIONAL: I'm allergic to dust, and something in a couple rooms triggered my allergies pretty severely. I'm guessing the sofa/pillows/bug screen. After a deep clean my allergies subsided.
