Kwabahal Boutique Hostel was my preferred accomodation in Kathmandu. Simply because the location was perfect. It is tucked-in in an alley and it has a nice garden/cafe to relax in. The street sound is muted so one can enjoy the serenity of the place. Secondly, all the staff display such heartwarming hospitality with endless smiles. A huge plus for me was also the clean and spotless showers and toilets, the cleanest by far during my visit in Nepal.

Hotel Jampa was exceptionally well located right in the middle of Thamel. Close to absolutely everything. At times you could hear other guests moving around outside the rooms, but for the price and location, you couldn’t beat it. Breakfast in the courtyard was delightful. Every single staff member we came across was super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Nice situation!
The room is very clean, spacious and modern, all the staff is very friendly specially the manager. He is available and accommodating.
The free shuttle from the airport is a big + when arriving to Kathmandu. You find someone waiting for you with your name and the manager contacted me a day before to give me all the details.

First of all, we like the location.It's near to Thamel Rd. where a lot of souvenir shops, bar and restaurants, spa etc. Everything we need is just around the corner.
Secondly, all the staff here are very kind, courteous, and helpful and accommodating.
Finally, the hotel is clean and peaceful perfect for relaxation.
