Great location! Within walking distance to many tourist sites. I had a room with a view of the historic square. The room was gorgeous and good-sized for a European hotel. Wonderful and very helpful staff (thank you all and in particular for offering to carry my luggage downstairs even without being asked!) A very delicious breakfast with lots of options (tons of fresh fruits and yummy pastries!) served in a large room with a view of the square and with live piano music! The taxi transportation from and to the airport was worth the money (roughly $38) Bruno, a kind and knowledgeable gentleman, explained the history of Lisbon and was helpful! His brother, who took me back to the airport was as kind and as helpful, carrying my bags to the departure terminal and showing me where I had to go! I will go back again and again to this hotel.

Pretty much everything . The stuff is amazing, breakfast simply the best I ever taste. The rooms are very modern and comfortable and the building from outside looks old and traditional. Location simply can not get any better, close to everything. We were very happy and love every minute spent there. Strongly recommend this place.

Breakfast is simply amazing. Freshhly made juice, home cooked pastries. And staff is fantastic! Very helpful, very friendly. I loved everything. And staying in the centre of the city is very convinient for everything.

This property has been renovated since these photos were taken! It far exceeded expectations. I’m an avid traveler and this hotel has been my favorite stay so far!!!!! Gorgeous, detailed charming decor and incredible staff. They treat you like royalty. Comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, so many areas to relax in, central area. Everything was perfect. I think I took a 100 pics because everything felt like Alice in Wonderland. I had a health crisis while staying here and the staff was attentive, helpful, checked on me and made me feel safe and cared for. I was traveling alone and I am forever grateful to them. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Janelas com Vista! The value for money is excellent. Our room on the top floor had stunning views and even a small balcony with two chairs – perfect for relaxing. The interior is tasteful and very well maintained, and you can see the same attention to detail in the lobby areas as well. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Getting there can be a bit of a workout due to the hill, but once you’re used to it, it’s not a big issue. Plus, the area is very quiet at night, which is a big plus if you like to keep the windows open. Overall, 10/10 – we truly loved it!
