We had an excellent stay at Mercure Singapore Tyrwhitt. The room had everything we needed and was spotless – the cleanliness was truly impeccable. The shower was great, the bed comfortable, and we appreciated all the thoughtful amenities provided.
We also enjoyed using the swimming pool, which was an added bonus after exploring the city. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful; they even allowed us to check out at 1 pm (later than usual) and stored our luggage for several hours so we could enjoy our last day before our night flight without any stress.
With both bus and MRT nearby, you can reach almost any part of Singapore within 30 minutes, and the surrounding neighbourhood feels pleasant and lively with plenty of food and shopping options.
Overall, it exceeded our expectations – great location, excellent cleanliness, friendly staff and good facilities. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to other travellers.

The service was excellent. I do not take elevators, and when asked about the stairs, the manager handled my situation with such care and understanding. It was actually not an easy job to unlock the security doors, but theyy did it every time without being funny about it.The bedss are super comfortable and the bathroom is a bit on the smaller side but clean. The breakfast had a good selection but most of all excellent service.

- Location was great! Could choose between using the Lavender or Bendemeer MRT stations, depending on where I was going.
-The self check-in using the machine was smooth and efficient.
- The accommodation was all very clean and well maintained.
- The room is of course incredibly small, but was ideal for me for a cheap, private 1 night stopover in Singapore. Didn’t need to splash out on a more expensive place.
- Sound proofing isn’t the best, but personally I had a quiet stay and it wasn’t noisy at all. I guess it depends on how other guests behave.
- They also provide slippers (clean ones for each guest) so you’re not going into the shared bathroom facilities in shoes or barefoot, so that was a nice touch.
- I was grateful for the filtered water dispenser.
