The property was close to all amenities but also had a very quiet atmosphere. The gentleman at the front counter was incredibly helpful and welcoming. There was scooters for hire at the property as well as snorkel tours that can be booked upon arrival. We checked out and the gentleman at the front desk called us a tuk tuk to take us to the ferry and it arrived within minutes and was very reasonably priced. We will absolutely be back!

I have nothing against children, however, I realised while staying in Jai Tiki Retreat that the absence of screaming, crying and general noise was exactly what I needed to be able to fully relax. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was blissful and the bed was by far the most comfortable of all our stays during our time in Thailand. This place really has the perfect balance of luxury and exclusively. You feel like you have your very own slice paradise, with the beach literally a stone’s throw away, yet it’s not overpopulated like other sections of the beach, so your view and peace won’t be spoiled.

Situated in Phra Ae beach, Eden Lanta Bungalow features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace.

I extended my stay and would definitely come back. I guess that says it all! The staff is super friendly and they are very helpful and caring!!! I can only agree with all the positive reviews and highly recommend staying here! And to all who complain about the roosters and chicken running around and waking them up early: book a city trip! If you struggle with the heat: book a room with AC. (I stayed in one without AC for the first two nights. It was okay and you can definitely also just go with only a fan. But for me personally the AC was a game changer.) Mosquitos? - Guess what! They are all over Thailand and Asia! So again: book a city trip in Europe or just bring a good mosquito spray along. The bed has a mosquito net and the staff supplies you every day with mosquito repellent!

Loved the private individual villas. Great size and everything we needed in them. Less than a minutes walk to breakfast and pool. Beautiful cared for gardens The breakfast area is lovely no mad rush to get to the breakfast food that you find in larger hotels. Pool area right on beach is beautiful. Cocktail hour is fun. The lovely touch of fruit and cold water brought to sunbeds is a lovely touch. Food is amazing we didn't have one bad meal and ate lunch and evening meal in hotel more than we normally would while on holidays. We didn't want to leave the amazing atmosphere. We stayed around pool longer than normal, showers were taken at leisure to return back to restaurant with beautiful beach atmosphere and great food always finished with a nightcap and friendly banter. Reception staff very helpful and great to deal with. Lovely refreshing drink and cold towel on arrival. They organised airport pick up and return, a moped for a couple of days and taxi to Old Town for a day out which is so helpful takes all the guesswork out of who to call. Every single member of staff amazing with friendly greetings but not intrusive. Owners on site and always ready for a chat. We loved our stay and have booked to return and counting down the days to do it all again.

Long story short: I strongly recommend this banger of a resort! I actually visited this place with my family 21 years ago for New Years. Couldn’t forget the amazing atmosphere and excellent service, which brought me back after all these years. A lot has changed in a good way, but the luxurious setting and welcoming service - which really is all that matters - was still going strong. Food was spot on, staff are always bright and friendly, the swimming pool is quiet, great for both having a dip and reading, the room and the facilities are well maintained and the snorkeling excursions are fantastic! A lot of the guests are super sophisticated too so you won’t have to deal with a loud obnoxious crowd. So yes, when in Lanta, choose Layana.

the hotel is new with clean bed linen, new furniture and well renovated. 5 minutes to the best beach on the island, many of places to eat around. a bit benefit is its super close to kohub coworking for those who work while traveling. The owner is nice and helped to book the tours as well as transfer back to Krabi for much lower price.
