Place was exactly as described and worked perfectly for our group. Host was always available for communication and the pre-arrival instructions were clear if not a little lengthy and repetitive. There are great spots nearby, like the taco stand at the gas station at the end of the street (incredible flavours!), and a lovely cafe with tasty coffee just down the hill.

We loved the welcoming, laid-back feel of this historical place. Our group of four had a room with four beds and our own bathroom across the hallway. Everything was clean and well-managed. There were snacks available at all times and all you would need for a healthy breakfast. We enjoyed the camaraderie of others staying at the place, mostly cyclists, and the hosts are delightful as well as providing information on the area. They were happy to store our luggage as we headed away to Cumberland to cycle back to the hotel. We stayed there again after our bike trip along the GAP.
