I loved that December Hoi An Villa was just a 3-minute motorbike ride away from the center of the Old Town. It meant I could get to and from all the places I wanted to visit at just a moment's notice while also enjoying the peace of being slightly away from the bustle. The street was this beautiful and clean suburban neighbourhood full of new and modern townhouses. The hotel receptionist Tuyet also gave me a very helpful little map of the Old Town together with a list of recommendations for places to visit, things to do and places to eat which was super helpful!

The best place we’ve stayed on our trip around SE Asia. The value for money is incredible. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean. The highlight for us was the staff- Hana and Kathy. They were so kind, helpful and professional throughout our stay. We also did a cooking class through the guesthouse and it was great, highly recommend! We will definitely be returning in the future.

Comfortable and huge private room. Tasty breakfast - easy to meet other travellers here. Bicycles available to rent, laundry service available, tour bookings possible via the hostel. However the star is the owner Hien - she’s super high energy, super friendly, and makes this a really special place to stay. Highly recommend joining her food tour if you get the chance.

The best part of this stay - The Host herself. Haven't seen a better host in Vietnam than Nhung. She is so nice and helping, and so hardworking, but making sure your stay is comfortable. She lives with her kids and husband, but it won't bother you at all. I can write a whole essay on this wonderful stay, but lets keep it point to point - 1. Location - 4 km from night market, but I prefer this as its quiet and good. Plus Hoi An is a flat city, so cycling is super easy. Just 7 min by cycle to market. 2. 4-5 kms from the An Bang beach too. 3. Free bicycles at this place. Take it and go. 😃 4. Bus pick ups are literally at the adjacent building to this place. 5. Washing machine for free use. Ample space to put clothes for drying. 6. Bike rental at 120k VND and very fast 7. The cost of stay. One of the cheapest and certainly the best homestay. 8. She is nice, but very clear also when comes to business, but not at all greedy, So don't worry. 9. She can book tickets for you for anything - bus, train, attractions etc in advance so that you don't have to wait in line. I don't think she charges quite less commission. 10. Water bottles here are the cheapest, even cheaper than the mart, so need to buy from outside, she keeps extra sealed bottles in your room. You use and you pay. If you want, you can also fill the bottles to save plastic usage.
