It is located in a tranquil, expansive, scenic countryside estate just 5 minutes drive from the attractive, friendly village of Ballincollig. Wow what a place. Super helpful upon check-in, we had been delayed by storms in London and they made sure our process was speedy, called the restaurant we had booked ahead of our reservation to warn them we may be a little late, and sorted our taxi ahead of time. We made my wife’s birthday dinner and it was all down to Hayfields staff. Our suite was immaculate, the breakfast was delicious. We would stay nowhere else when repeat visiting Cork as we do. Loved the breakfast and the variety was amazing. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Had the best sleep ever. I simply found the bed to be the most comfortable that I've ever slept away from home.The bathroom was also fantastic. Loved the shower. All so relaxing.
