very friendly staff and owner: they tried to reach out to help. It is a new B&B hotel with some nice decoration. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is wonderful with many choices. Location wise is good to us because it is surrounded by many beautiful team plantations (or farms) even though it is a little bit far away from Alishan. Plus you can also enjoy their tea for free.

Room is big and comfortable and has a good view of the mountain. We could see sunset and sunrise on the top of the building. The magnificent view of sunset was such an experience that we will remember for a long time. The owner is very friendly as well. We pre-booked the hotpot dinner and it was delicious.

Staff were extremely responsive via Booking.com and picked me up/dropped me off at Shizhuo bus stop with zero hassle. Rooms are spacious, surrounding tea farm and Cloud Trail are beautiful.

The vancinity around Shizhao has become my favorite part of Taiwan. Strategically its a great pivot points between Alishan and Fengqihu (separate day trips), and personally, Shizhao has became the better experience within its own right. Our host Mr. Xue drove us to see fireflies nearby at night. He also drove us to nearby attractions to make the most of our day. He was also so kind to explain tea harvesting and brewing process while we enjoyed the tea he brewed. Our room was huge, equipped with its own tea set. Waking up and starting each day amongst a tea field is a real treat and the aroma of tea permeates though the town. There are great looped trails nearby transecting through multiple tea farms and bamboo forests, look for the Shizhao trail systems, some of my favorite includes the mist, cloud, and sunset trail.

    The staff there were very approachable. The breakfast and dinner prepared by the family was amazing !! The staff also brought the guests on a night walk and mini star gazing tour out of favour and good will. He also drove us up to the tea plantation to see the sunrise which was beautiful. The people in Meishan in general are just very friendly :)

    Location is a little bit far from the city area need to take a cab around 2 hours and the journey to the B&B can be steep and difficult to travel if you are with a kids. In general the location is breathtaking and it gives a thumbs up to that.

    Beautiful country, drive through the mountains to get there. Really nice room with an amazing view. The family who run the b&b are really nice and welcoming. Unexpected major plus, dinner was of the best food we had in Taiwan.

    This is a wonderful place to spend some quality time with your family and friends. The family-owned business is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the freshly picked fruit is a delicious touch. The highlight of our stay was definitely the breathtaking sunrise view. We also loved watching fireflies at night. There are plenty of activities to enjoy on the property, and we highly recommend checking it out

    Great rooms, location, setup. We really enjoyed ourselves at this Bed & Breakfast. Our children also really enjoyed the cats on the premises. The owners are very helpful and the son speaks English well. We brought food with us and were able to cook on their gas stove.
