Originally, we came to this area for one night to relax from the hustle and bustle of Saigon, but we enjoyed it so much that we ended up staying for two nights. The place is truly magical, and you will hardly see any tourists here—only kind, smiling local people and plenty of fruit, especially coconuts. Thuan is a very friendly and caring person. He speaks perfect English, which really helped us to get at least a glimpse of the local culture and way of life, especially during a private trip on the Mekong River, which I highly recommend. The next day, we went on a bike ride and visited a local coconut processing workshop (nothing goes to waste here). One of the most unforgettable moments was when we visited local school children—it was an incredible experience that touched our hearts. Whenever we were hungry, his sister Thuy cooked us excellent Pho or fried spring rolls at her restaurant. We are glad we chose this place and we hope to return here in the future. We were received and hosted by the owner, Martin, "the German in the Mekong Delta" and all his lovely dogs. He really makes an effort for you to have a great experience in what he calls 'his paradise'. You can experience the real rural Vietnam, in a location away from the main tourist areas. The food is great, and the table is set up in a way that promotes conversation with other guests, so you get a very nice family atmosphere. We took one of the bungalows, which was very spacious and the terrace was great.

You get to have a real local experience as not many tourists here The owner, Thai, was absolutely brilliant and helped make my stay extra special, as did his adorable children! I hired a moped which helped me explore that much further than the bikes but the bike rides were also good. I timed it perfectly for the flower markets. Stunning! All the locals were so friendly saying hello as I passed. Totally unexpected but I suppose a single red curly headed female stands out a little. From this experience I'd recommend a homestay.

The food was yummy and substantial and the staff were great with dietary requirements.

Host is really friendly , showed us all around the place. We ended up staying for one more day.

The traditional restaurant at the farm stay serves Vietnamese cuisine, and is open for dinner and lunch. Peace Farm is set in an idyllic spot next to the Ben Tre River. The accommodation is self-contained huts within a beautiful green garden full of plants, flowers and trees. The room was clean and comfortable, with air-conditioning and mosquito net. In the garden there are wooden platforms where you can sit and relax next to the river. The host, Thu, was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. She suggested activities for us and went out of her way to come along on a boat trip with us when the original guide was no longer available. It is possible to get meals at the property, which Thu cooks herself. All of which were plentiful and delicious! On site, Thu makes her own natural soaps and oils from coconuts, which are in the rooms for guests to use and are lovely. There are also some friendly pets on site which give the place an extra homely feel!

All units are fitted with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a fridge, a kettle, a bidet, slippers and a desk. Every unit comes with a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hair dryer, while certain rooms are fitted with a fully equipped kitchen. At the farm stay, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Hospitality is amazing. The owners can not do enough for you. They are so helpful and will try their best to get anything you want or need. We felt very relaxed and comfortable. It is very home from home here. Thuan and Tien, thank you so much for being such amazing friends. 😘. A special mention to their daughter Lucy. She's is an amazing young woman. (What an incredible family). Shops and restaurants are all in a 5/10 minute walking distance. A knew coffee/breakfast restaurant was being built whilst we were here. And what an incredible job they have done too. We loved using the Free Bus. This is perfect for getting about. Grand World, Airport, Ferry ⛴️. All the supermarkets, X-Mark, Kingkong. (And Free). You can hire bikes right here.🏍. And bicycles 🚲 are free. If you're looking for real people in real veitnamese culture, this is the place for you. We will most definitely be coming back. We will miss these people 😢 for sure.
