I cannot write an objective review for the place since from me this was like a pilgrimage because I am just a huge fan of Geoffrey Bawa. Just being there was a dream come true! The staff is exceptional, very thoughtful and well mannered. The small touches like the happy hour where they serve home infused gin and tonic ( Bawa’s favourite) by the Lunuganga is an experience in itself. The sense was of history , his whimsical sense of design , his attention to detail is a learning in itself.. What a legacy !

this was a last minute booking, and we loved it so much !!! the place was superb, so peaceful, comfortable and loved the design aesthetic. It was a real treat to stay in a Bawa designed property. The garden and pool area was lovely and the restaurant and all the staff did a wonderful job.

Our stay was amazing. From the warm, professional welcome to the consistent kindness of every staff member, we felt truly cared for. The room was very large, immaculately clean, and exceptionally comfortable. We also loved the stunning view and the calm, relaxing atmosphere around the hotel.
