We were welcomed with popsicles when we arrived. Our room was massive, clean and had all the updated appliances. There was a private patio with a sun bed as well. The staff were incredible welcoming, friendly and helpful. They made the bed everyday, sometimes even twice a day, and they had all the mosquito repellents in the room and even replaced the mosquito lamps, incense and more (although we had no issues in the room probably because of that!). Breakfast selection was amazing and delicious. It was also really fun to watch the train go by in the morning during breakfast. Pool was clean and was really nice to dip in to escape the heat. Super convenient location, just walk across the railway tracks and you’re at the beach. There’s 24 hour security to open the gates for you no matter what time you come back. We started our trip here and it has been so hard to live up to those expectations. It is probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in.

How had we not discovered this chic hidden hen in Bentota before! Easily the best stay we’ve had in Sri Lanka and we’ve been around from the hill state ti the south, staying in boutique hotels! Artistically designed cosy rooms with spacious balconies, beautiful gardens and pool area with great service. We loved the warmth of Sanjeeva who looked after our stay, and the welcoming reception manager who obliged our requests in the most efficient manner. It was just serene to be here, relaxing amidst the wafts of frangipani and enjoying the pool with food and drinks served straight to us! The beach was a charming 2 minute walk away across the railway tracks, which itself makes for a great Instagram shot! absolutely loved this hotel!

This Ayurveda retreat is a gem , we liked the treatments that are done under supervision from specialized doctors, the authentic healthy food, the staff , and the Yoga . And the acupuncture treatments as well. we went there with chronic pains and left with much better state of body and mind . Wow…what a stay!!! It’s a hidden gem at a very serene location. It an ideal place for those who wants to live in tranquility and enjoy their ‘me time’. It is also an ideal place for romantic gateway. We stayed at their ‘Deluxe Double Room with Balcony’. The room was very spacious with a nice balcony and a spacious bathroom. The whole room and bathroom are nicely decorated. We enjoyed the view from the balcony sitting on the swing. Overall, it a very nice and comfortable room to stay. The have a very welcoming infinity swimming pool and a private beach. We enjoyed every moment of it. During our stay we also met with the Chairman of the Hotel Dr. Ranjuka and his wife Director Ms. Nilusha. It was such a pleasure to meet & have a small chat with them. We really appreciated the way both of them welcome us in their hotel. The General Manager Mr. Sulochana Nilhan has given special attention to us & taken care of all our requirement with wholeheartedly. Their Chef made us a three-course meal as per our requirement, such a nice gesture. We were amazed by the hospitality & care of all the hotel staffs. We are thankful to them for making our stay memorable. You can have tuk tuk from the road and other options of ride from pick me easily, if you want to visit near by. We highly recommend this place.
