Lovely campsite with friendly horse, donkeys and very cute alpacas. Nice things for the kids to do on the site and lots to do in the area. the river is lovely, and there are really nice pubs to eat at in the village. Michelle and her daughter were so helpful and friendly. And the bell tents were great - really comfortable beds! Thanks for a great stay!!

Loved the remoteness of the tents, well spaced out, clean and decorated and finished beautifully. Perfect couples get away. Breakfast in the barn was delicious.

Lovely little hut on the farm which was really cosy and well thought out. It had a small kitchen area with all the utensils we needed, plus a BBQ, fire pit, and seating area which made the evenings really enjoyable. Firewood and marshmallow essentials were even provided, which was a really nice touch. The toilet facilities were clean and convenient, and the whole place felt quiet and relaxing with animals close by. Everything was set up to make the stay easy and enjoyable – a really unique and peaceful experience, we made full use of the facilities and cooked a lovely meal.

The set up of the site was amazing. It was very easy to warm the yurt up with the fire and the hot tub was lovely too.

The Host & Hostess, Kim & Mark were incredibly accommodating, very nice and ever so polite. Hospitable duo. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed to make my stay extra comfortable. So much attention to details, pretty much every box ticked. The Pod was exactly as described and I must point out that the space is bigger than it appears online. It was clean & spotless!!! Sparkling white toilet too!!!. Cozy and filled with thoughtful touches that made me feel at home. They were nice enough to leave a loaf and a pint of milk which was very helpful on my first night, as I had no clue on where to get food, given that It was my first time in the area and I arrived pretty much when it was dark. After each day at work, I was always looking forward to a peaceful and relaxing moment in the pod.

Group of 6 staying in the Castle and the Cabin. Greeted by Roy with a wheelbarrow to help cart our luggage to our accommodation, and given the rundown on where things are such as toilets, showers, etc. We had a great time keeping the woodburning stoves lit in the accommodation as it was negative temperatures on our first night, but that didn't stop us having a barbecue and then light the fire bowl outside! Lewis was fantastic when I was initially booking the stay, answering all questions with patience and professionalism. Roy was easily contactable throughout our stay to help with anything at all. The accommodation itself is lovely and cozy, and self-catering, giving us the freedom to eat at our leisure. A fantastic and memorable stay for all the right reasons, and I'm looking forward to bringing my partner on a romantic stay here. She's going to love the hot tub in the Cabin. Huge thanks to Moat Island Glamping, and we'll be back!
