Denise and John are fabulous hosts. They helped us with restaurant bookings, directions, things to do and even rang Avis for us as we had major phone issues. We had the best nights sleep in quiet, comfortable accommodation.

I only stayed for a night in Inverlea Guest House as I had to catch an early bus from Ayr the next day - if I hadn‘t already booked it, I would have stayed longer! Everything was perfect, down to the tiniest detail: the beautiful and incredibly quiet house, the extremely high quality bed and infrastructure, the lovely breakfast. But most of all, the hosts Liz and Douglas, who made me feel welcomed from the moment I stepped into the guest house. Even tho Ayr wasn‘t really on my radar of „must-visits“ in Scotland, I will probably come back just because I want to spend some more time at Inverlea!

Self check in was easy, the room was very nice & clean.. It was walking distance to Main Street & had onsite parking..

Close to Ayr seafront and a few metres from the town centre, Mercure Ayr is a comfy hotel with gym. Free WiFi is available throughout. The Brasserie Bar and Restaurant serves drinks, snacks and meals....

Excellent spacious room and bathroom. Nice and quiet. Lovely seaview. Close to the city center.

Opposite the Royal Troon golf course, Piersland House offers both modern and traditional rooms with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. There is free private parking.

Our room was clean comfortable, with an excellent view of the golf course and the sea. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice hot and cold, the full Scottish was very good and I can highly recommend the porridge, meals in the bar were also very tasty, no negatives to report.
