We were in Bulgaria in April, so before high-season. Therefore, at least we guess so, like in many other places in Bulgaria before, we were the only guests at Chalet Balkan. It is a very quiet place. Beautiful nature and away from the city noise. The hotel is very clean and the owner is extremely helpful. Speaks fluent English and is a fantastic chef! The meals are excellent!

The guesthouse is really beautiful, the atmosphere is very peaceful and the food (breakfast as well as dinner) is delicious. We definitely recommend everyone to spend a few nights in the little river guesthouse. Our little daughter enjoyed the stay as well very much.
