This was one of the most beautiful and luxurious places where we have ever stayed! Our room with huge terrace was gorgeous, both modern and functional, and tastefully designed with antique furniture. The bed was large and very comfortable. We slept with the double doors wide open, and woke up with a view of the mountains. Since the weather was good, we spent much time on the terrace, which was our extended living room. The fancy espresso maker in the room did not have decaf capsules, so after mentioning this to our hosts, they graciously provided a different espresso maker in the shared kitchen. That kitchen has everything you could wish for. The bathroom attached to our room was new and gorgeous, with a bathtub as well as a shower.

Highlights: - the attention of the owner, he is really attentive and charismatic, he makes you feel at home. - cleanliness! Everything impeccable. The setting is unique, beautiful, peaceful and so much fun. We called it the Troll Village. The food at the Osteria was amazing (be sure to book in advance). When visiting, be aware that the Bus comes only once per hour and there are no shops in walking distance, so have with you everything you might need. There is a mobile bakery selling breads from 8:00 - 8:15am (except Sundays), which we found very cute.

The Garni Elena is a cozy, family-run hotel in a quiet location outside the village center of Losone, only 5 minutes walking distance from the 18-hole golf course Gerre.
