Everything was perfect. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We had dinner in their restaurant, delicious fresh food. Breakfast was great, especially the Kaffe.

You can find the hotel on the outskirts of Feuchtwangen surrounded by huge old trees. It was built in 1819 and the hotel has been in business since 1999. Today it is a beautiful country house.

This is NOT a fancy hotel. It is like the hotels I'd stay in Germany forty years ago. It's family owned and run. The rooms are comfortable. The entire hotel is clean. It's also a little quirky. Check-in is between 6PM and 8PM. The restaurant serves dinner between 6PM and 8PM. Drinks are served until ten. Also, there are several days a week when the restaurant is closed. However, the food is fantastic. The owner has a garden from which she harvests fresh vegetables daily. The tomatoes were amazing. We ate in the hotel our second night, and then returned the next for mostly the same dishes. The hotel is located in a tiny village, and the hotel seems to be the hub of activity. One night a local men's choir was practicing inside while we ate outside. Then the local fire department dropped by for bratwurst and beer. In the distance we could hear some band members practicing. Marvelous!

Owner was very attentive and helpful. Rooms were immaculate. The breakfast was excellent. Fresh coffee was served in insulated pitchers at tables. Eggs were cooked to order. Dining room was bright and roomy. Breakfast offered everything you could want.
