Location was excellent, being just 150m from the S Bahn station at which we arrived. Staff were very friendly and helpful, for example taking our case to the room. Breakfast was excellent in a cosy front parlour with wooden panels. Evening meals were served on both nights we were there in February, and the food, beer and service were excellent. Please be aware that the restaurant only takes cash whereas the hotel does take a credit card. Value was also very good. It is a longish walk to the Starnberger see and a short train ride to local towns on the lake. Overall, an excellent stay.

The people at reception desk were friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and equipped with a fan for the hot weather. The breakfast in the morning in the cozy dining room was top notch. We loved this place so much, we came back after a stay in 2012. Highly recommend.

We’ve stayed here multiple times and each time our stay has been perfect! The hotel rooms are immaculately clean and comfortable with the perk of AC and screens on the window to allow fresh air and no bugs. The breakfast is DELICIOUS!!! We dined in the restaurant most nights for dinner too, which offered the best local food options.

Friendly staff, liked the garage with direct access to the hotel. The breakfast was very good, locally sourced. Enjoyed the quiet, spacious room. Was a very good place to get out with the dog with the location right at the edge of the city.

Excellent location on Starnbergersee. Excellent bedroom, living room, bathroom, and kitchenette (I think we got the only room configured this way). Wonderful breakfast included.
